When you make an appointment, it is best that you know your system first. Knowing your system and comparing it with out pricing list will give you an idea of your total estimated cost before you even call us.
A return is the duct work that takes air back to the HVAC Blower. Most HVAC systems have one large return, but many also have a small return in each room that feeds back into the main. Each return is priced independently.
Vents are the duct work that pushes hot or cold air into the room. Most vent systems have a main trunk line that the vent duct work branches off of. These are what most people associate air ducts with. However, the small returns may be a similar size. To see if a vent is a return or not, simply feel the air flow during operation. If the air is coming out, it is a vent. If the air is going in, it is a return
If you have a larger home, you may have multiple HVAC units. If that is the case, you WILL have multiple returns, mains, and supply vents. Keep this in mind when you are looking at pricing and discount services.
We have several services to remove and prevent mold and mildew growth in your HVAC system. Growth is caused by condensation on you system's A coil or humidifier that's is left on all year long. That moisture is either pumped out or drips out of the system. However, not all systems evacuate the water properly.
We can treat a system with Sporicidin, which kills the spores and has a short term effect on preventing growth. We can also install a UV light near the A coil. The UV light is used to kill micro organisms in drinking water. The same principal applies when using the UV light near A coil compartment.
